Fauna Oasis in Valle Vecchia

The Valle Vecchia area is an extremely rich oasis of fauna, which survived land reclamation in the 20th century.

It has a great variety of flora and fauna, with a pine forest coastline and the “della Brussa” beach, a non-urbanised coastal tract situated between Caorle and Bibione. The area, which stretches for 4.5 kilometres and has a surface area of 900 hectares is bordered by lagoon, marine and river waters and has facilities for walks, bird-watching, picnics (with a refreshment point) for cultural activities, information (at the Environment Museum) and educational activities.
